BRAKE LIGHTS SWITCH ADJUSTMENT

Refer to the servicing cautions on page 71.

Regularly check the operation of the rear
brake light switch (1) on the right side of the
engine.
The switch can be adjusted by turning the
adjuster nut (2). Turn the nut in direction (A) if
operation of the brake light switch is delayed,
or in direction (B) if it is anticipated (too
sensitive).
