SERVICING YOUR PUMP

3. Use a brush to remove carbon deposits from the spark arrester

screen. Be careful to avoid damaging the screen.

The spark arrester must be free of breaks and holes. Replace the
spark arrester if it is damaged.

4. Install the spark arrester in the reverse order of disassembly.

When you attach the spark arrester, spark arrester’s outlet must be
pointed toward the side opposite the spark plug.

5. Install the top cover, and tighten the 5 mm hex bolt securely with a

hexagon wrench.
