Servicing Your Honda

Refer to Safety Precautions on page 146.

The bilge system, which drains water from
the engine compartment, should be flushed
periodically according to the Maintenance
Schedule, or whenever blockage is suspected.

Be sure to remove the lock clip from the
engine stop button/switch.

1. Remove both seats (page 158) and the rear

storage box (page 229) to access the engine
compartment.

2. Remove the band (1).
3. Push out the bilge strainer (2) while sliding

it.
