4. You can tune to a preset station by pushing its corresponding
preset button.
NOTE: On the US: EX or Canada: EX-R models, the Auto Select
button must be off before the preset station selection can be used.
You will loose the frequencies you preset if your car's battery goes
dead or is disconnected. The preset station setting will also be erased
from memory and replaced by a new station if any preset button is
accidently pressed and held for more than two seconds.
NOTE: On the EX or EX-R model, the Auto Select Button must be off
before the Preset Station Selection can be used.
Auto Select (US: EX, Canada: EX-R)
With Auto Select on, the radio will scan one band at a time and seeks
the 6 strongest frequencies in each band. The frequencies selected
will be temporarily stored in the Preset buttons. You can then use the
Preset Buttons to select those stations. If there are not enough
available stations in the area to fill all Preset Buttons, the display will
show "0."
Turn off Auto Select when you return to your normal broadcast area,
the light will go out, and you can select the preset frequencies you
originally set.
Stereo Indicator
This lights up when an FM stereo broadcast is being received. It w i l l
flash when the signal strength diminishes. If it flashes, good stereo
reception cannot be expected. Stereo reception is available only for
FM stereo broadcasts, not for AM stereo broadcasts.
