Routing the Engine Starter Harness
37. Route the engine starter harness as shown.
38. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, thoroughly
clean the areas where the 40A fuse labels and the
3A fuse label will attach.
39. Attach the 40A fuse labels and the 3A fuse labels to
the relay block and the fuse case of the engine
starter harness.
40. Plug the three relays into the relay block of the
engine starter harness.

41. Unlock the vehicle 42-pin connector by pushing the
retaining tab on the connector, and unplugging the
connector from the fuse box.
42. Unplug the vehicle 4-pin connector and the 2-pin
connector from the top of the fuse box as shown.
43. Wrap two urethane tapes around the vehicle 4-pin
connector and the 2-pin connector.
44. Secure the vehicle 4-pin connector and 2-pin
connector to the vehicle harness using a wire tie.
