To stop the engine in an emergency, simply turn the ignition switch to
the OFF position. Under normal conditions, use the following
procedure.
After use, remove the pump drain plug (see page
), and drain the
pump chamber. Remove the filler cap, and flush the pump chamber
with clean, fresh water. Allow the water to drain from the pump
chamber, then reinstall the filler cap and drain plug.
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Move the throttle lever to the LOW position.
