6 Replacing batteries
If an empty battery is displayed via the app or the device (see
„8.2 Command not confirmed“ on page 34 ), replace the
used batteries by two new LR03/micro/AAA batteries. You
must observe the correct battery polarity.
To replace the batteries of the remote control, please pro-
ceed as follows:
• Open the battery compartment (G) on the back
side of the remote control. Therefore, first press
down the release button of the battery compart-
ment cover and pull down the cover afterwards.
This will open the battery compartment and the
cover can be removed
(see figure 2) .
• Insert two new 1.5 V LR03/micro/batteries into the
battery compartment of the remote control, mak-
ing sure that you insert them the right way round
(see figure 4) .
• Close the battery compartment by replacing the
cover and pushing it with light pressure until it
latches into place
(see figure 3) .
• Please pay attention to the flashing signals of the
device LED while inserting the batteries (see „8.2
Command not confirmed“ on page 34 ).
Once the batteries have been inserted, the remote control
performs a self-test (approx. 2 seconds). Afterwards, ini-
tialisation is carried out.
