6.1 Simple operating functions on the
device
After the device has been connected correctly and
switching on the mains voltage, it can be connected
to the Homematic Central Control Unit (or to other
Homematic devices).
With the channel button (A) , connected consumers
can be directly controlled (switch on and off without
teaching-in) via a short button press. In this way, or by
a short or long button press (dimming) of push buttons
that are connected to terminal S1, you can check that
the electrical installation has been performed correctly.
As the device button is lowered, a pointed isolated ob-
ject (e.g. a voltage tester) has to be used for operation.
In the following pictures, the operation is explained
using a finger for better understanding.
The device LED signals the switching status of the
dimming actuator:
• LED on - switched on
• LED off - switched off
