Automatic Shut Off

This product has been designed for convenience and safety. As a
special precaution against falling asleep while using the unit, or
leaving the unit on while it is still in operation, we’ve programmed it to
automatically stop working 15 minutes after receiving your last
command. Any time you change massage functions, the timer will
reset. This special feature should not be considered as a substitute
for OFF. Always remember to turn your unit off when not in use.

Please Note:
For added protection of your unit

: When the power is on but no

function is selected or only the HEAT function is chosen with no
massage function selected, the unit will automatically shut off after 15
minutes.

Maintenance

To Store

Place massager in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact
with sharp edges or pointed objects which might cut or puncture the
fabric surface. When storing, wrap cord around the four prongs on
underside of unit. To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power cord
around the unit. Do not hang unit by the hand control cord.

To Clean

Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a
soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow water or any other liquids to
come into contact with the unit.
• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass /

furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.

• Do not attempt to repair the unit. There are no user serviceable

parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics address listed in
the warranty section.

For a relaxing foot massage:

1. Sit in comfortable chair and place the unit in front of you so that

massage control functions can be read. Slide feet between
black, upright massage panels. (Fig. 1 Panels may be moving
or turned off - whichever is easiest for you.) Keep toes flat on
surface/base during use. Placing toes in between the base
and a moving panel may cause pinching.

2. Follow Instructions for Use on pages 8-9 for turning unit on

or adjusting massage.

Note: Massages over 15 minutes are not recommended.
To protect from over heating, unit will automatically turn
off after 15 minutes.

For a relaxing calf massage:

1. Sit on floor or a comfortable chair. If sitting on floor, place

massager in front of you on floor. If using a chair, place
massager on a stable ottoman or stool at similar height to chair.
(Fig. 2) Massager should face direction that allows you to read
massage functions on control. Slide calves between black,
upright Massage Panels. (Panels may be moving or turned off -
whichever is easiest for you.)

2. Follow Instructions for Use on pages 8-9 for turning unit on or

adjusting massage.

Note: Massages over 15 minutes are not recommended. To
protect from over heating, unit will automatically turn off
after 15 minutes.

When massage is complete, remove feet or calves and turn
massager off. Unplug and return cord to storage housing
underneath unit. Return Control to its storage cradle. See
Maintenance section for storage recommendations.

Caution: Never
stand on unit as
this may result in
physical damage
to both user and
