Installing Handsets

step, the following screen is displayed.

Press 1 to add another handset, or 2 to
add a data or phone jack.

Note: If you press 1, you will be asked
to enter the serial number and name of
the additional device.

Handset serial numbers are located on
the underside of the battery cover. Data
and phone jack serial numbers are
located on the plug side of the jack.

When you have finished adding
devices to the network, proceed to the
next step.

If this is the first handset you have
added to the network and you have not
yet specified dialing rules via a PC
connected to a Data Jack, you will be
prompted to define these rules now.
See page 41 for information on this
procedure.
