COOKING RICE
1. Set up the food steamer as describes in “HOW TO USE” and “HOW TO SET THE TIMER”.
2. Place a steaming bowl on the base.
3. Place 1 cup of rice and 1
½
cup of water in the rice container (Maximum 250grams of rice)
4. Cover the steaming bowl with lid
5. Set the timer for the desired or recommended cooking time
KEEP WARM FUNCTION
The flavor and nutritional value of steamed food is best when freshly cooked. However, should you
wish to keep food warm for a short period of time, select “KEEP WARM” by pressing “MODE”
button on the preset cooking menu and if necessary adjust the time accordingly.
AUTOMATIC KEEP WARM FUNCTION
1. The appliance will automatically switch to 20 minutes “KEEP WARM” mode with two beeps
when selected cooking time is completed.
2. When “KEEP WARM” mode is completed, the appliance will give 5 beeps and then in a minute
turn-off automatically with two beeps.
REFILL WATER DURING COOKING
For recipes with long cooking time:
1. When the water level is lower then the “MIN” level, the buzzer will sound continuously. The Re-
fill symbol will be flashing.
2. Check the water level
3. Check the timer
4. Refill water through the water inlet opening as fig 6 fig.6
5. Set the timer for the desired cooking time
NOTE:
Refill water to higher level than “MIN” – buzzer will stop and refill symbol will stop flashing.
AUTO SHUT OFF FUNCTION
The appliance will switch to OFF mode automatically after one minute with two beeps sound in
these following conditions:
1. Operation programmed is completed
2. Selected operation is not confirmed by pressing the “Start/Stop” button.
To switch the appliance back on, simply press the “Start/Stop” button.
