Making the electrical connections
Fasten the open end of the ground wire (green
with a yellow stripe) to the ground wire from
the junction box or the ground screw (CC) on
the universal crossbar (EE).

Always use the wire nuts (AA) to connect wires and
push all excess wires and connections back into the junction
box
(not included).

Installing the universal crossbar
Secure the universal crossbar (EE) to the outlet
box (not included) with the outlet box screws
(BB).
WARNING:
Turn off power at the main fuse box.

Adjusting the length of the wire
Untie the 8 cord anchorage of the wire inside the
canopy (B).
Adjust the wire to the appropriate length, then
relock the 8 cord anchorage in the wire.
