15 OPERATION
15.1 Initial check before start
 Check that the max. speed of the machine is lower than the max. permissible
speed of the used saw blade.
 Use only sawblades with a diameter of 315mm.
 Make sure that the inner diameter of the saw blade corresponds to the diameter
of the drive shaft.
 The saw blade guard must be mounted on the riving knife. Working with the
machine without saw blade protection guard is prohibited.
 Ensure connection to a dust collection system (A).
15.2 Operation
15.2.1 Starting the machine
Green ON-button (I): start the machine
Red OFF-button (0): stop the machine
15.2.2 Stopping machine
Normal stop:
Press the OFF-button (0). The saw blade stops its movement.
Only in emergency situations:
Stopping the machine using one of the two EMERGENCY-STOP button.
To pull out the EMERGENCY-STOP button, turn to the left and tighten it slightly if
necessary.
15.2.3 Saw blade height adjustment
Loosen the fixing screw on the handwheel in order to move the saw
blade. Turn the handwheel clockwise to lift the saw upwards. Turn the
handwheel anticlockwise to lift the saw downwards. The height of the
saw blade must be adjusted so that the teeth hit the top of the work-
piece.
15.2.4 Adjustment of the saw blade tilt
Loosen the fixing screw on the handwheel in order to move the saw
blade. The saw blade can tilt from 0° to 45°. Turn the handwheel clock-
wise to tilt the saw blade. Turn the handwheel anticlockwise to move the
saw blade in a vertical position again. The current position can be seen
on the scale.
N O T I C E
After adjusting the saw blade tilt, adapt the rip fence and/or the cross-cut fence so
that they do not become contact with the tilted saw blade.
15.2.5 Adjustment of the cutting width
The cutting width can be adjusted on the rip fence so that it can be read
off the ruler. The rip fence can be fixed by tightening the locking screws.
