11.8 Replacing the carbon brushes
Open the carbon brush covers(11) on the motor carefully and remove the carbon brushes. If one
or both of the carbon brushes is worn, they must be replaced with new ones of the same type.
11.9 Use with a guide rail

Before initial use, cut the rubber edge off the guide rail.

Adjust the saw for scoring and make a cut along the entire length of the guide rail.

Remove the rubber strip that has been cut off.

If there is a gap between the plunge saw and the guide rail, you should remedy this using
the adjustment screws (5).
