10.1 Indended use
The machine must only be used for its intended purpose! Any other use is deemed to be a case of
misuse.
To use the machine properly you must also observe and follow all safety regulations, the
assembly instructions, operating and maintenance instructions lay down in this manual.
All people who use and service the machine have to be acquainted with this manual and must be
informed about the machine's potential hazards.
It is also imperative to observe the accident prevention regulations in force in your area.
The same applies for the general rules of occupational health and safety.
10.2 Security instructions:
• Make sure that only qualified electricians install or maintain this cable reel. It must not be
used by children or by uninstructed persons.
• Make sure that the voltage of the power supply does not exceed the maximum permissible
voltage of the cable reel.
• Make sure that the Recoiler is properly mounted before connecting the current.
• Make sure that the power supply is interrupted prior to maintenance work.
• Before each use, the cable must be checked for damage and removed if necessary.
• The cable from the roller must always be extracted from the cable itself and not from the unit
of work.
• As soon as a malfunction occurs immediately interrupt the current.
• Never remove or alter the safety devices installed by the manufacturer.
• Do not use the cable reel in damp or wet areas. The working area must always be clean. It is
to be avoided that dirt particles or similar can enter the cable drum.
10.3 Prohibited use
• The operation of the machine under conditions outside the limits specified in this manual is not
permitted.
• The operation of the machine without the intended protective devices is prohibited
• The dismantling or switching off of the protective devices is prohibited.
• The operation of the machine is not permitted with materials which are not explicitly mentioned
in this manual.
• The use of tools that are not suitable for use with the machine is not permitted.
• Any changes in the design of the machine are not permitted.
• The operation of the machine in a manner or for purposes which do not correspond to the
instructions of this operating manual to 100% is prohibited.
• Do not use the cable reel in damp or wet areas.
 Never leave the machine unattended, especially when children are nearby!
