11.1
Intended use of the machine
Only use the machine when it is in perfect technical condition and in accordance with its intended
purpose, safety and hazard awareness! Immediately rectify any faults that could impair safety!
It is generally forbidden to change the safety equipment of the machine or
to render ineffective!
The BS125M is only suitable for indoor use. Do not expose it to rain or use it in damp rooms!
Only use the BS125M for the activities listed below in compliance with the safety, operating and
maintenance instructions and restrictions described in this operating manual: cutting metals,
castings and plastics..

accepts no responsibility or warranty for any other then
the intended use nor for any thereof resulting damage to property or injury.
Unauthorized use:
Operation of the machine under conditions outside the above limits is not
permitted.
The operation of the machine without the provided safety devices is not permitted,
nor is the alteration or making ineffective of the safety equipment of the machine
and any alteration of the design of the machine.
Dismantling or switching off the guards is prohibited.
Operation of the machine with materials not expressly mentioned in these
instructions is not permitted.
The machining of metal materials with dimensions outside the limits specified in
these instructions is not permitted.
11.2
Safety instructions
Warning signs and/or stickers on the machine that are illegible or have been removed
must be replaced immediately!
Local laws and regulations may determine the minimum age of the operator and limit
the use of the machine!
To avoid malfunctions, damages and health impairments, the following measures for safe working
must also be observed unconditionally:
Choose a level, vibration-free surface for installation.
Ensure a safe standing position when working
Keep the working area and floor around the machine clean and free of oil, grease and
material residues and do not leave any objects or operating tools next to or on the
machine.
Ensure sufficient lighting in the working area of the machine.
Do not work on the machine in case of fatigue, lack of concentration or under the influence
of medication, alcohol or drugs!
Do not overload the machine! Operate it only in the power range for which it is designed.
Never leave the running machine unattended. Ensure that unauthorized persons are only
present at an appropriate safety distance from the device and, in particular, keep children
away from the device. Switch off the machine before leaving the workstation and wait until
the band saw blade stops.
The machine may only be operated by instructed persons (knowledge and understanding
of these operating instructions).
When working on the machine, do not wear loose, loose clothing, ties, jewelry or long,
open hair - there is a danger of it getting caught!
