Operating the crosstable
19.2.1
Automatic feed (X-axis)
1.
Make sure that the handwheel for manual feed X-axis (1) is pulled out.
2.
Loosen the lock levers of X-axis (2)
3.
Set the shift lever feeding cross table (3) to position („STOP“).
4.
Set the selector lever rapid feed-stop-milling feed (4) to position milling feed.
5.
Set the feed rate to one of the eight possible speeds using the selector levers feeding
speed X-axis (5). The speed for each setting is shown in the table below.
You can adjust the laterally adjustable limiters (6) on the guide rail (e.g. for series production
or for milling processes with identical milling length).
6.
Now switch the shift lever feeding cross table (3) to the right or left to move the table in
the desired direction at the preset speed.
7.
At the latest after contact with the corresponding limiter, the shift lever feeding cross table
(3) is switched back to the neutral OFF position and the feed switches off.
Of course you can also control the feed distance semi-automatically by means of the shift lever
feeding cross table (3).
19.2.2
Manual feed (X-axis)
The manual feed is carried out by turning the pushed in handwheel (1) or by means of the
handwheel on the opposite side.
19.2.3
Cross feed (Y-axis)
To adjust the crosstable along the x axis, first release the two
fixing levers (1).
Use the handwheel Y-axis (2) at the front of the machine to
adjust the dovetail-guided crosstable to the desired position.
Then tighten the two fixing levers (1) again.
19.2.4
Height adjustment crosstable (Z-axis)
To adjust the height of the crosstable along the Z-axis, first
release the two fixing levers (1) on the right side. Use the
removable crank handle () on the left front side of the machine
to adjust the dovetail-guided worktable to the desired height.
Then tighten the two fixing levers (1) again.
