Troubleshooting

Problem

Solution

The status field in HOLMFIR says:
No compatible DSPre found

1. Make sure that a USB cable is connected between
the DSPre and the computer
2. Turn on the DSPre
3. Restart HOLMFIR

HOLMFIR cannot control the
DSPre volume and source

1. Disconnect the USB cable to the DSPre
2. Close the HOLMFIR application
3. Connect the USB cable to the DSPre
4. Start HOLMFIR

There was a powerfailure when I
was uploading filters to the DSPre,
which is not responding now.

1. Perform the upload again

The DSPre is powered on, but
there is no text in the display

1a. Turn off the DSPre and turn the DSPre on again
1b. Find the remote control and adjust the dimming
