CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning
• Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool
down completely before cleaning.
• Clean the appliance’s exterior with a slightly damp cloth and dry it with
a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
• The crumb tray (I) must be regularly cleaned. Do not allow breadcrumbs
to accumulate inside the toaster, under the risk of fire.
• To remove the crumbs from inside the toaster, pull the crumb tray out
of the appliance and empty it into the household trash. Then clean the
crumb tray in warm water, using a soft sponge and mild detergent. Wipe
with a dry and soft cloth. Turn the appliance upside down over a trash
can and shake it gently to remove crumbs from inside the appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Storage
• Store the appliance in a dry and ventilated place, away from sources
of heat or direct sunlight.
REPAIRS
• This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair
the appliance on your own. Always have a professional repair the
product for you.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
their authorised technical service agent or a qualified professional.
DISPOSAL OF WASTE EQUIPMENT
Waste electrical devices are made of recyclable materials. Do not dispose of
them with household waste as they may contain substances harmful to human
health and the environment! Please actively support cost-effective management
of natural resources and protect the environment by taking the waste appliance
to a collection point for recyclable waste electrical and electronic equipment.
