Warning! Switch off the device, unplug and let it cool down before
cleaning and maintenance to avoid electric shock and burns.
8.1 BASIC PRINCIPLES
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the lifespan of
the device.
8.2 CLEANING THE DEVICE
• Wipe the device housing with a dry cloth.
8.3 DUST CONTAINER CLEANING
1. Make sure the device is disconnected from the power source and turned off —
the on/off switch (8) must be set to “0”.
2. Then open the lid. Press the top lid lock and pull out the dust container.
3. Open the dust container.
4. Take out the mesh.
5. Empty the dust container.
8. CLEANING AND CARE
Caution! Do not clean the device with any chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disin-
fecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the device.
• Never expose batteries to direct heat sources, such as excessive
sunlight, heaters or fire.
• Explosion hazard! Batteries must not be dismantled, put into fire
or short-circuited.
• Spent batteries may leak, which could damage the device.
• If you touch acid from a battery, rinse your hands under running water. If any
acid gets into your eyes, contact a doctor. Battery acid can cause irritation
or burns.
• Swallowing a battery may have fatal consequences! Keep the batteries
away from children and pets. Seek medical assistance immediately if a
battery is swallowed.
