7.4 Resetting
After turning the scale on it resets automatically regardless of the object
placed on the scale. This function may be used for taring when starting
up the scale.
7.5 Taring
After turning the scale on, you can tare it to obtain the net weight of your
product (i.e. without packaging, plate etc.). In order to do this, weigh an
empty package/vessel (e.g. jar), press
ON/OFF/TARE
button, wait until the
scale the scale display the negative value of the package (if, for example.
jar weighs 300 g, the display will show - 300 g) then weigh your product
placed in an identical package/vessel (e.g. jar with grains inside). The
display shows the weight of the product without packaging.
7.6 Display messages
Displays when the maximum capacity of 5 kg (5199 g) is
exceeded.
Battery is low. Replace the battery promptly.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the battery before cleaning the device.
• Wipe the device using a cloth moistened with a solution of water and detergent,
then wipe dry.
• Do not use any caustic cleaning agents.
• Protect the scale against the penetration of water or other liquids.
• Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
9. REPAIR
The device does not contain user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to make any
repairs. Always have a qualified professional perform repairs.
10. STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Clean the device according to the instructions.
Keep it in a dry, well-ventilated location inaccessible to children.
Protect the device from vibration and shocks during transportation.
