15. WARNING: There is a risk of injury if the device is not
used in accordance with its intended use.
16. Check the power cord regularly. If the power
cord becomes damaged, have it replaced by the
manufacturer, a service center representative or a
qualified person to avoid hazard or injury.
17. Read the whole user’s manual, and in particular the important safety rules,
before using the device.
18. Before connecting the device to an outlet, make sure the outlet voltage
corresponds to the device voltage.
19. Do not immerse the power cord, its plug or the device heating part in water or
any other liquid, so as to avoid electric shock.
20. Do not hang the power cord over the edge of a table or sink.
21. Do not use an extension cord. If, however, you are prepared to accept
responsibility for doing so, use a cord in good condition that is adequately
grounded and matches the device’s electric current rating.
22. The power cord should not hang freely or touch any hot surface.
23. Place the device away from other kitchen devices that become hot, such as
ovens, electric cookers, gas burners, etc.
24. Do not cover the device with anything when it is being used.

To avoid the risk of fire or electrocution, do not expose the device to rain or
dampness.
26. The device is intended for indoor use only.
27. Operate the device on a flat, stable and dry surface resistant to high temperatures.
28. Do not carry or move the device when it is on.
29. If you hand this device over to a third party, pass on this user’s manual as well.
30. Never unplug the device by pulling on the power cord. Instead, grasp the plug
and remove it from the outlet.
31. If water spills onto the internal or external electrical components in the device,
disconnect the device from the power outlet and dry it thoroughly before
connecting the device to the mains again.
32. Do not use the device if the power cord shows any signs of damage or if the
device has been dropped on the floor.
