Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn
the device off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down,
so as to avoid burns and electric shock.
Caution! Do not clean the device with any chemicals, alkali, abrasive or
disinfecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the device.
Caution!
Do not use metal, sharp or rough cleaning accessories, as they may damage the
surface of the device!
Do not immerse the device or the power cord in water or other liquids.
Prior to next use, make sure that the device is completely dry.
Protect the device against penetration by water.
8.2 Cleaning the device
• Clean the device with a clean damp cloth.
• Wipe the heating plates with a damp cloth.
• If necessary, use a mild cleaning agent.
• Do not use agents which may scratch the surface. Do not use sharp tools.
• Wash the drip tray under running water with the addition of washing-up liquid.

2. Store the device in a horizontal position.

Always keep the device in a dry, well-ventilated location inaccessible to children.
4. Protect the device against vibration and shock during transport.
The device does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair the
device on your own. Always have a specialist perform repairs.
If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized
service centre or a competent person to avoid risk or injury.
