5.  Use the kettle only with the base included in the kit. 

6.  The heating component surface remains hot after use.

7.  The appliance must not be immersed in water. 

8.  NOTE: 

Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the 

handle.

Make sure that the appliance is turned off before lifting it 

from its base.

Never open the lid when water is boiling.

Avoid pouring water over the connector.

Improper use of the appliance poses an injury risk.

Caution! Risk of burns/scalding! 

Do not touch hot 

surfaces of the appliance (housing, lid and the part of the 

handle directly adjacent to it) and be careful of steam emitted by 

the appliance. Hold the appliance only by its handle.

14. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the 

manufacturer, a service centre representative, or a properly 

qualified individual, so as to avoid hazard. 

15. The appliance is designed for use in households and in similar 

places such as:

• 

staff kitchenettes in stores, offices and other workplaces,

• on farms,

• in hotel rooms, motels and other such facilities,

• in boarding houses. 

16.  Read the entire instruction manual, and in particular the important safety 

rules, before using the appliance.

17.  Before connecting the appliance to a power outlet, make sure that the 

voltage in the outlet matches the supply voltage of the appliance. 

18.  The electric kettle must be connected to a 220-240 V~ 50/60 Hz alternating 

current mains through a grounded outlet.

19.  Use the electric kettle only to boil water, in accordance with its intended use.

20. 

Do not turn on the kettle if it is filled with water above the maximum level or 

below the minimum level. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may splash 

out. Do not turn the kettle on if it is empty.

21.  To prevent electrocution, do not immerse the power cord, the plug or the 

appliance itself in water or any other liquid.
