1. INTENDED USE
The electric kettle with temperature control is intended for heating and boiling
potable water. It must not be used for heating other liquids or foodstuffs.
The appliance can be installed and used safely only if the rules contained in
this manual are followed.
The appliance is intended for private indoor use only.
1. The appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age
and by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or by individuals lacking the necessary experience
and knowledge, provided that they are supervised or use the
appliance safely, in compliance with the instruction manual, and
understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the
appliance. The appliance may not be cleaned or maintained by
children unless they are older than 8 and are supervised. Keep
the appliance and its power cord away from children younger
than 8.
2. Make sure that children do not play with the appliance.
3. When cleaning parts that come into direct contact with food,
follow the instructions in section 8 Cleaning and maintenance .
4. If the electric kettle is overfilled, boiling water may splash out.
