Open the packaging and carefully remove its contents. Make sure that the set is
complete and that its components are undamaged. Check that plastic parts are not
broken. If you find that any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor
and do not use the product. Keep the packaging or dispose of it in accordance with
local regulations.
6. SET CONTENTS
Attention!
The purchased device may be provided with batteries in the battery
compartment, secured with a plastic strip. Remove the plastic strip before you start
using the device.
7.1 Battery installation /replacement
1. Make sure the scale is switched off.
2. Slide away and remove the battery compartment cover in order to open the
battery compartment.
3. Remove spent batteries (if present).
4. Insert new batteries (AAA 1,5 V ). Pay attention to the polarity.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Caution!
• The device is designed to be used with 4 AAA 1.5 V batteries.
• The batteries are included in the set.
•
When installing new batteries, observe the polarity markings in the
battery compartment.
