7.3 Use
1. Prepare the food to be cooked in the appliance.
2. Connect the appliance to a mains outlet. Make sure its parameters match
those indicated on the appliance’s rating plate or in this user manual.
3. It is recommended to heat up the appliance for approx. 3-5 minutes.
a) Press the ON/OFF touch button to turn the appliance on/off or into standby
mode. The control panel LEDs will light up.
b) Select the heating time (3-5 minutes) by pressing the buttons for increasing/
decreasing the temperature, until you reach a required setting.
c) Press again the ON/OFF touch button to turn the appliance on/off or into
standby mode, and start heating up the appliance.
d) After the selected time has expired, the device will turn off the heating function
(the red dot symbol will disappear from the inside of the fan symbol). The
cooling function will start (fan symbol without a red dot). After finishing the
cooling function, the device will turn off.
4. Remove the pot by following the instructions in section 7.2 Removing
/ inserting the pot and the basket , place the food in the basket, and then
replace the pot in the appliance.
5. Press the ON/OFF touch button to turn the appliance on/off or into standby
mode. The control panel LEDs will light up.
6. Select the required cooking time by pressing the touch buttons for increasing/
decreasing the cooking time.
7. Select the required cooking temperature by pressing the touch buttons for
increasing/decreasing the temperature.
8. Then press the ON/OFF touch button again to turn the appliance on/off or
into standby mode, and start frying. The fan LED will light up and the In use
LED will flash, indicating that the appliance is in use.
Note! Some foods require stirring, so you can take out the pot and shake its
contents or use a wooden spatula to mix them. Afterwards, replace the pot.
The countdown timer is stopped whenever the pot is removed. The countdown
will restart when the pot is replaced in the appliance.
9. Always check if your food is ready. Remove the pot and check its contents,
then replace the pot. If the food needs to be fried for a longer/shorter period of
time or at a higher/lower temperature, use the touch buttons for increasing/
decreasing the cooking time or the buttons for increasing/decreasing the
temperature.
