Vacuum the surface by moving the device forwards and backwards.  
Do not lift the device for the safety pressure sensors will work and the 
UV lamp will be switched off.  
Vibrating beater will stop when lift up the vacuum cleaner and suction 
will work until switched off. 

 

9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

 

 Cleaning of the unit may only be carried out when the unit is switched 

off  and  has  cooled  down,  the  mains  plug  is  unplugged  from  the  mains 
socket, and the cable is wound up. 

 

Clean the dust container, filter and UV lamp regularly.

 

 

Do not immerse the device in any kind of liquid.

 

  Do  not  lubricate  the  rollers  with  any  grease  or  oil,  as  various 

contaminants may stick to the rollers. 

 

Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents to clean 

the device. 

 

CLEANING OF THE RIGID PARTS OF THE APPLIANCE 
The device may only be cleaned with a dry cloth or paper towel. In the 
case of heavy soiling of the body it is permissible to use a cloth slightly 

moistened with lukewarm water and wrung from its excess. Afterwards, 
wipe the cleaned area immediately with a dry cloth or paper towel and 
leave the device to dry.  

 

EMPTYING AND CLEANING THE DUST CONTAINER AND FILTERS 
To  empty  the  dust  container,  remove  it  from  the  device,  holding  the 
container with one hand and the vacuum cleaner housing with the other.
