Outdoors
1. Position the lamp in a place where the solar panel can receive direct sunlight for as
much of the day as possible. The solar panel must not be covered!
2. Hold down the
On / Off + Dimmer
button (

) for a few seconds to switch on the
lamp.
3. Flip
the
Sensor on / Sensor off
switch (

) to the
Sensor on
position to activate the
daylight sensor.
The battery charges up in daylight. When it gets dark, the LEDs automatically switch
on. When it becomes light, the LEDs switch off and the battery is charged via the
solar panel.
The lampt should not be located near other light sources such as street lights or
other lamps, so that the LEDs can be switched on automatically.
•
To switch off the lamp manually, hold down the
On / Off + Dimmer
button for a few
seconds.
• To deactivate the daylight sensor, fl ip the
Sensor on / Sensor off
switch to the
Sensor off
position.
Indoors
For the battery to last for as long as possible, the lamp should not be switched on
during the charging process. Disconnect the lamp from the mains power after charging.
1. Pull the cover off the
DC 5V
socket (

) on the lamp shade (

).
2. Plug the barrel connector of the cable which is supplied (

) into the
DC 5V
socket.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to the mains adapter (

) and fi x the plug connec-
tion using the cap nut.
4. Connect the mains adapter to an easily accessible plug socket.
The charge control lamp next to the
DC 5V
socket lights up red while the battery is
charging. When the battery is full, it is lit green.
5. When the battery is charged, fi rst pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket and
then pull the barrel connector out of the
DC 5V
socket.
6. Place the cover on the
DC 5V
socket.
7. Switch and operate the lamp in the manner described in the “Functions” chapter.
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!

No liquid must get into the product during cleaning. Never immerse the product
in water!
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents!
•
Wipe down the product with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Use mild cleaning agent
if necessary.
•
When the product is not being used, store it in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is
protected from direct sunlight and cannot be accessed by children or animals.
