Cleaning the HEPA Exhaust Air Filter
The HEPA exhaust air
fi
lter is located behind the exhaust air hatch on the back of the vacuum
cleaner.
1. Press the release button (
D
) on the exhaust air hatch and pull out the exhaust air hatch (
see
Picture G
).
2. Remove the HEPA exhaust air
fi
lter by the two handles (
see Picture H
).
3. Tap out the HEPA motor
fi
lter and brush off loose dirt.
4. Brush or wipe out the
fi
lter compartment if necessary.
5. Insert the HEPA exhaust air
fi
lter into the
fi
lter compartment.
6. Insert the exhaust air hatch into the
fi
lter compartment. When you do this, make sure that
the locking lugs on the top of the exhaust air hatch sit correctly in the recesses in the
fi
lter
compartment. You must hear and feel the exhaust air hatch engage.
Cleaning the Housing and Nozzles

Clean the housing with a slightly damp, soft cloth if necessary.

Regularly remove hair and
fl
uff from the nozzles.
Storage
•
For storage purposes, hook the
fl
oor nozzle into the holder on the back of the device and
collapse the telescopic tube as far as possible.
•
Check the mains cable regularly for any damage.
•
Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry, cool room indoors out of the reach of children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly,
fi
rst check whether you are able to rectify the problem your-
self. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact our customer service
department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
