Cut four pieces if 3/32” x 4” balsa to fit the top of the fuselage in the wing area. Glue these into place start

ing at the windshield and terminating at F3.

Glue the dorsal fin to the fuselage in line with the vertical fin and then remove the empennage assembly.

MOTOR MOUNT ASSEMBLY

When assembling the motor mount, with the exception of laminating MMA and MMB in step one, use 

Epoxy for all remaining motor mount assemblies. It’s a good idea to give the entire motor mount a liberal 

brushing with thinned finishing resin after assembly. This will fill and bond every interface for a much 

stronger assembly. The motor mount is designed with slotted mounting holes for a universal fit. This mount 

is designed to fit the ERC-60 motor. Any other motor may require shimming.

Using  the  registration  pins,  laminate  MMA 

and MMB together.

Place the motor mount bolt plate (MMPB) on 

the bench and glue on the horizontal (MMH) 

and vertical (MMV) parts.

Glue on the MMA/MMB assembly to the front 

of this assembly.

Glue on the torque brace (MMTB).

Glue on the motor controller mount (MCM).

RADIO INSTALLATION

The radio can be installed in any convenient location that will not interfere with the hatch/payload or bat-

tery area. There are no servo’s in the fuselage except the hatch release servo if installed, the wing contains 

the servos for the flaps and ailerons and the stabilizer contains the servo’s for the elevator and rudder.

The aileron and flap servos are installed with the same configuration used on the elevator and rudder. Use 

a #2-56 threaded rod with a clevis on the control surface and a Z-bend at the servo arm end.

MOUNTING YOUR MOTOR

The motor mount provided is designed to fit the Hobby Lobby ERC BL-60 electric motor however it 

should fit and comparable motor. Use the #6-32 X 1/2” bolts, flat washers and Ny-lock nuts to secure it.

Secure the motor mount to the firewall with 

four #6-32 X 3/8” socket head bolts.
