should be removed from the end of cables.
Otherwise test result will be inaccurate.

the remote unit. Select “

If the cable is shorter than 1.2 meter, the LANsmart Pro can not identify the twisted
status, it will show the warning message “
Cannot
detect cable under 1.2m”.
Short Location
LANsmart Pro can show which end of cable are shorted by using TDR technology.
Also user can see short details on Wiremap menu.
