The XF3 Adventure is not designed for the following:
• Race/competition use
• Cleaning with a jet of water
• Transport on the outside of a car in the rain without covering the motor and
removing the batteries
• Charging the vehicle outdoors in wet conditions
The intended use is further limited by:
• The safety instructions in this manual
• The “Technical specifications” chapter in this manual
• The country-specific regulations for road traffic
Use of the vehicle is not recommended for the following groups:
• People with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities
• People who cannot operate the vehicle safely due to their height
Rotating parts, such as wheels, pulleys, cranks or pedals, can pull in clothing
and stowed items. This can cause serious accidents!
→ Always wear tight-fitting clothing.
→ Wear shoes with a grippy sole.
A pedelec accelerates faster than a bicycle. Always bear in mind that other
road users cannot anticipate your acceleration capacity.
→ First practice handling your new eBike in a traffic-reduced area, before
you use it on the road.
→ Practice handling the brakes. See also section 4.4. "Brake system".
Please check your country specific requirements concerning lighting devices and
decide which of the included reflectors are necessary to be mounted.
