3.3.2. Brake lever angle

Once you have found the right position, first tighten the brake levers ensuring that

they can still be twisted. Tighten the upper T25 screw so that the upper gap between

the two halves is closed. In the next step, set the angle of the brake levers.

Adjust the angle of the brake levers so that your

fingers rest on the brake levers as you extend your

arms when sitting on the vehicle. Your wrist should

be as stretched as possible.

Then retighten the handlebar clamp screws of the

brake levers to a maximum of 4 Nm.

3.3.3.

Adjusting the brake lever distance

The brake lever distance should be adjusted so

that the brake lever can be operated with the first

phalanx of the 2 fingers in question. The lever

width can be adjusted via a small scew in the brake

lever. On Magura brakes the screw is located in the

position marked in red.

3.4. Suspension fork setup

You should adjust the air suspension fork to your weight and for this purpose you

need a small-volume shock or suspension fork pump. This is not included in the

scope of delivery.

On RockShox forks you will find the recommended pressure for the air

chamber of the fork on a sticker on the left hand fork tube.

First check the suspension travel used by your body weight (SAG).

This should be 15-25% of the suspension travel (example: 120 mm suspension travel

-> 18-30 mm SAG).

A lower SAG makes the fork "harder", a higher SAG makes the fork "softer".

When riding over the same obstacle, the harder fork releases less travel.
