A high-speed jet of water can cause damage to the bearings, Enviolo hub,

Bosch battery, motor and display. The manufacturer is not liable for these

damages.

-> Only use a weak garden hose that provides a slow jet of water.
Oil or spray wax that gets onto the brake discs or pads makes the braking

effect worse.

-> Prevent the spray wax or oil from coming into contact with the brake

discs or pads!

Transporting on a car

To avoid damage caused by transporting the vehicle on the outside of a car, observe

the following instructions:

If you transport the SD3 Urban on a car in the rain and at high speeds,

water can get into the enviolo hub, the Bosch motor, the battery and

the display.

-> Remove the battery.

-> Use a protective cover for the vehicle, covering the hub, motor and display.
The weight of the vehicle places increased demands on the rear or roof

rack of a car. Unsuitable bike racks can break during the journey or may not

be completely safe for your vehicle.

-> Check the potential roof load in the car's operating manual and the

bearing load in the car's bike rack manual.

Li-ion batteries are subject to the requirements of the hazardous goods law.

Private users can transport the battery on the road without restrictions.

In the case of commercial transport (e.g. haulage), regulations on packaging

and labelling must be observed (e.g. the provisions of the ADR).
