About This Document

How To Use This Document

This document contains a general introduction as well as a description of the technical features pro-
vided by the Anybus Communicator PROFINET-USS Gateway.

The reader of this document is expected to be familiar with USS and PROFINET network technology, 
as well as communication systems in general. The reader is also expected to be familiar with the Mi-
crosoft Windows operating system.
