Personal protective equipment
Normal operation
No persons may remain at the HM-S and HT-S linear axes during normal opera-
tions. Persons near the HM-S and HT-S linear axes must wear the following
personal protective equipment depending on the travel speed:
Safety shoes
If necessary, hearing protection
All other operating phases
(cleaning, maintenance, resetting,
troubleshooting, repair)
The following personal protective equipment is needed for all other operating
phases of the HM-S and HT-S linear axes:
Safety shoes
If necessary, safety gloves and safety goggles
If necessary, hearing protection

Only authorised and competent persons may carry out work on the HM-S and HT-S linear axes! They must be familiar with
the safety equipment and regulations before starting work (see Table 2.1).
