When this service hasn’t been bou

ht, the thermostat and receiver can

also be installed without a hub. This is known as ‘stand-alone’ mode.
Follow the steps in the next section if the thermostat and receiver are

to be installed without a hub in ‘stand-alone’ mode (where Hive Active

hasn’t been purchased).
