When starting a charge
process, the built-in safety
timer automatically runs at the
same time. This is programmed
to prevent the battery from
overcharging if it proves to be
faulty or if the termination circuit
cannot detect that the battery is
fully charged. The value for the
safety timer should be generous
enough to allow a full charge of
the battery. Default is 120 Min.

NiCd battery: The automatic
charge termination program based
on the principle of the Delta-
