WARNING:

• Do not keep the hood and access covers open

when the machine is parked on a slope, or while

the wind is blowing hard. The hood or access cov-

ers may close accidentally, possibly resulting in

personal injury.

• When opening or closing the hood and access cov-

ers, take extra care not to catch fingers between

the base machine and the hood or access covers.

Secure Engine Hood in Position

When opening the engine access cover, unlatch the cover

in 2 places, and hold the cover handle. Then, raise the cover

until stay (1) lock completely engages with lock groove (2)

inside the cover.

Secure Access Covers in Position

Open each access cover and air cleaner access cover. Insert

the end of rod (3) into locking hole (4) to lock the access

cover in position.
