General Features and Use
Setting Energy Saving mode
■ Push the 冷却モード button to enter Energy Saving mode. 節電 (Energy Saving) display comes on with
the push of the button.
The display switches in sequence as shown below every time the button is pushed.
Turn off the
節電
(Energy Saving) display to disable Energy Saving mode
● 節電 (Energy Saving) mode becomes disabled if it is switched to 急冷凍 (Quick Freezing) or 急冷藏 (Quick
Cooling) . Reset the mode.
● No effective energy saving is attained when temperature is set to 弱 (MIN) which has no automatic temperature control.

(Energy Saving) mode allows effective energy saving.
The mode includes:
● Automatic temperature control to lower cooling loads in each compartment.
● Turning down the LED light in the Refrigerator Compartment if the door of the Refrigerator Compartment is left open for
more than 30 seconds.
● Automatic temperature control lowers cooling loads, which may cause ice cream to get soft and
frost to form on frozen food. It also requires longer freezing time and ice making time.
