Degrease the Connecting Rod

on a workbench facing the Connecting Rod

side downward. Apply light
pressure on the end surface of the Crank Shaft

with a hand press and pull out the Retaining Ring for D40
Hole

that fixes the Ball Bearing 6203DDCMPS2L

from the groove of the Cylinder Crank Case

.
Before removal, move the crank pin of the Crank Shaft
[42]
as shown in Fig. 16 so that the hole of the
Retaining Ring for D40 Hole
[43]
can be seen.
