Use only NORMAL tapes in the cassette deck of this sound system. The characteristics of the
cassette deck mechanisms do not match other types of tape.
FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES
RADIO SECTION
RADIO AERIALS
•
For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial. To improve FM-reception, incline and turn the
aerial. Reduce its length if the FM-signal is too strong (very close to a transmitter).
•
For AM, the set is provided with a built-in aerial, so the telescopic aerial is not needed.
Direct the aerial by turning the whole set.
FM MODE
When a FM stereo signal is too weak or noisy for stereo listening, set the BAND Switch [4] to
the FM position to reduce the noise.
BEAT CUT (AM only)
If beat noise is audible during the recording from an AM radio programme, to eliminate the
noise, change the switch [24] to A or B.
SOUND CONTROL SECTION
DYNAMIC BASS BOOST
Set DYNAMIC BASS BOOST to ON to get the rich bass sound. To turn it OFF, press
the button [14] again.
