2. Aligning the position of the saw blade
(1) Align the position of the cutting edge of the blade

using the standard line on forward edge of the table
insert portion of the base plate (See Fig. 3(A)).

(2) Position the slide plate on the sighting line, using

your fingers. (See Fig. 3(B)).

3. Regulating the guide (Fig. 4)

The cutting position can be regulated by moving
the guide to the left or right after loosening its
wing-bolt. The guide may be mounted on either the
right or left side of the base.

CUTTING PROCEDURES

1. Place the base on the workpiece, then align the

premarked line and the sawblade with the guide
slot at the front of the base. (Fig. 5)

2. Ensure that the switch is turned ON position before

the saw blade comes in contact with the workpiece.
The switch is turned ON when the trigger is pulled;
and OFF when the trigger is released.

3. Moving the saw straight with brisk speed will resultin

optimum cutting.

CAUTION:

Before starting to saw, ensure that the saw blade
has reached full speed revolution.

Should the saw blade be stopped or made an
abnormal noise during operation, turn off the switch
immediately.

Always be alert for the power cord not to contact
the revolving saw blade.

It should be used to cut a workpiece of Hard Board
at one cut, and do not cut workpieces piled up.

It should be always connected to vacuum cleaner
when cutting Hard Boards.

MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING THE DUST
BOX

CAUTION:

To avoid serious accident, the switch is in the OFF
position and disconnect the plug from the receptacle.

1. Mounting the dust box:
(1) Loosen the lever and set cutting depth at minimum

and then tighten the lever as shown Fig. 8(A).

(2) Align the gear cover catch with the setting mark

(triangle mark) on the inset part of the dust box.
(See  Fig. 6).
