Basic Operation

Powering ON/OFF

When you first connect the unit to the mains socket. Switch the POWER ON/OFF button at 

the rear of the unit to the ON position. The unit will be in STANDBY mode.
• 

Press the STANDBY/ON   button on the unit or on the remote control to switch the 

unit to Power ON mode.

• 

Press the STANDBY/ON   button again to switch the unit to standby mode.

• 

Disconnect the mains cable from the mains socket if you want to switch the unit off 

completely.

Selecting Modes

Tap the FUNCTION Icon on the unit or press the FUNCTION button on the remote control 

repeatedly to switch between modes.

•  If there is no signal when the unit is in CD / USB / CARD mode, the unit will automatically 

switch to standby mode in approx. 15 minutes.

•  When the unit is in the iPod mode and if there is no iPod in the iPod dock, the unit will 

automatically switch to standby mode in approx. 15 minutes.

•  While in STANDBY mode, press any button to illuminate the display for about 10 seconds.
•  To save energy, turn off the unit by switching the POWER ON/OFF switch at the rear of the 

unit to the “OFF” position.
