Preset Equalizer

You can adjust the sound reproduced simply by choosing from 5 preset equalizer. Press the preset
equalizer button (P-EQ) once by once to select cyclically one of the following 5 preset equalizer:

POPS

Vocal sound is intensified

JAZZ

:

For jazz

CLASSIC

:

For classic

ROCK

:

For rock

USER

:

Booting

1. If the service database is empty, the receiver shall display the following for 2 seconds:

After this time, a scan operation of all Band III channels shall be performed.

2. If the service database is not empty, a tune operation to the last previously selected service shall

be performed.

Idle

When the receiver is idle, the receiver shall display the current service name.

Auto tune

1. When the 

SCAN

 button is pressed and held for 2 seconds, the receiver shall display the

following for 2 seconds.

After this time, a scan operation of all Band III channels shall be performed.
When the 

SCAN

 button is pressed but not held, the receiver shall display the following for 2

seconds:

After this time, a scan operation of UK Band III channels shall be performed.

2. The service database during the scan operation shall be updates and the preset be cleared.
3. If 

Cancel

 button is pressed during scan, the scan shall be aborted and go back to the previous

frequency before scan. Other button shall be locked.

4. During scanning, the receiver shall initially display the following, where ”CH” is the DAB channel

and “N” is the number of ensemble currently detected.
