CHAPTER 3
OPERATION

 

 

This chapter explains in detail how to operate the 

monitor. At first, before you operate your monitor , turn on the rear main

power switch of your monitor. (The position of the main power switch, see

page E     This section briefly describes the functions of the switches and
controls.

 Main Power switch

Located on the rear panel of the monitor. Set to  I  to turn on the power,
and the power indicator becomes green. Set to ‘0’ to turn off the power.

If the monitor will not be used for a 

long 

time, turn off this

switch.

(2) Front Power switch

When this switch is pressed while the Main Power switch is on and the

power indicator is green, the indicator turns to orange and nothing is
displayed on the screen. Pressing this switch again turns on the screen

display and changes the indicator to green.

 Power indicator

The screen can display while this indicator is green, but not when it is

orange.

 DEGAUSS button

Degausses the monitor.

This is recommended if 

the 

monitor is moved 

or 

changed in

its orientation.

 MODE selection switch

Selects an adjustment mode with the MODE selection switch.
Set to the upper position for MODE 1 and the lower position or
MODE 2.

The items listed in Table 3.1 (page E     can be adjusted in these two
modes.
