If the vehicle does not pass the test, do not

operate the vehicle.

Preparation before testing

1. Place gear shift

in the “NEUTRAL” position.

2. Set the parking brake and stop the engine.

◆

Test gear shift lever safety switch

1. Sit on the

operator’s seat.

2. Shift the gear shift

lever to: “L”, “H”, “N” or

REVERSE position.

Turn the key to “START” position.

4. The engine must not crank.

5. If it cranks consult your local dealer for this

service.
