Setting Workflow
Trigger Mode Settings
This setting controls whether the instrument
continues to accept triggers after measuring.
Trigger Type Settings
Make trigger source-related settings.
•
Analog trigger
•Logic trigger
•Timer Trigger
•External Trigger
•Manual trigger
Pre-trigger Settings
Set the amount to record before and after trigger
points.
Trigger Timing Settings
Set the start and stop timing for triggered
recording.
Set AND/OR Between Trigger Sources
Select the required AND/OR logical combination of
analog, logic, external and timer triggers.
Start Measurement
Press the
START
key to start measurement. (The key will light
up in green.)
(Operation may differ depending on the
START
key behavior
Data acquisition starts when trigger criteria are met.
To stop measurement, press the
STOP
key.
Press once: Recording will stop at the end of the specified
recording length.
Press twice: Recording stops when the key is pressed.
Available settings for the respective items depend on the
function.
•
Except for manual trigger, triggering is based on the logical combination of trigger sources (AND/OR).
•
When triggering occurs, the TRIG OUT terminal for control of external devices carries an output
