2.8.2 Frequency Counter Measurement
Use for measurement of high frequencies, such as a CPU
clock signal.
1.
Set the function switch.
2.
Select Hz counter with the
SHIFT
key.
3.
Select the division with the
DUAL
key.
(Pressing the
DUAL
key toggles between 1
and 100.)
4.
If you want to change the range,
press the
RANGE
key.
(Normally, manual range is used.)

Connect the test leads to the test ter-
minals.
6.
Connect the test leads to the object
being tested.
7.
Use the
Hz
key to change the DUTY
ratio, pulse width, and frequency.
(Duty ratio and pulse width cannot
be measured at 100 cycles)
8.
Read the value displayed in the
main display.
